He Jin Jang is a multi-city based choreographer, performer, dramaturg. Jang has presented her works in festivals and venues throughout New York and internationally including the Kitchen, New York Live Arts, Movement Research at the Judson Church, Center for Performance Research, American Dance Festival (Durham, US), CORD Conference (Roanoke, US), Studio 12 (Berkley, US), Performatica (Puebla, Mexico), WUK (Vienna, Austria), University of Bristol (Bristol, UK), Volkshochschule (Bern, Switzerland), National Museum of Contemporary Arts (Bucharest, Romania), Temps d'Image Festival (Cluj-napoca, Romania) and MODAFE (Seoul, Korea) among others. She has served as Fresh Tracks Artist at New York live Arts (2014-15), Choreography Mentor at New York Foundation for the Arts (2014), Assistant Professor of Dance at Hollins University (2011-2014), Faculty at American Dance Festival (2008-2013). Jang is also a recipient of Arts Council Korea Fellowship (Korea, '09-11), Artist-in-Residency at Movement Research (New York, '09-11), and DanceWeb Fellowship (Vienna, 2011). Currently, Jang resides in South Korea and created a international exchange platform called HeJin Jang Dance/CEPA Global Initiative.
